The Judge of Man
What will you say when you go before the one that matters
OOOPS!
I forgot about the poor

I forgot what it was like to be in love

I forgot about the blood
I forgot about the kids
I forgot about my brother

God Can I come Home?
NO!
Can I come Home?
NO!
Can I come Home?
NO!
How about now?
NO!

Can I?

Well what if I?

Well how about?

Lesson:Never argue with God.
The Lords Prayer

Sweet sleepers awake
to the dream of peace
put to bed the war
do not make me grieve
forget all the wrongs
put down you pride
and come and find me
When you die
TIME
Swallowed up
Stolen
Sleeping away
Drifting and rifting
Working and play
Marching in
Keeper.
Proper
However you spend it it was today.
The Light

Inside of we there is a light
Me tends to hide
Inside of I there is darkness
We need to shine
The Interview

The interview was going well
I really need the work
I was dressed up really swell
He was not a jerk
Personal branding all the while
I put on my little show
The problem with my style
The man began to glow
Not as easy as I supposed
Next time I'll keep my eyes closed

Wake up
Walk away

I felt strength
I felt kindness
I choose to be strong
I choose to be kind
We all have that choice
May we choose it
The Way Home

Painting pictures that I was born to paint
Smiling at frowny people, who are hungry
Picnics with fruit and ants
Listening to doves and rivers
Making Love
Humming along to classical music
Praying for others
Long hikes smelling the trees
Tasting good cooking
Petting dogs because I can
Snorting when I laugh and not caring

When I am done
I know the way home
LOVED

Standing on wood on shining water
Hands held, pushed forward
LOVED
A sky so clear and blue
The steps of white stone
LOVED
My white gown around me shining
As I saw an arch
LOVED
Loved
loved
If they could see the light around themselves
no one would ever doubt that they are a part
of the tree
Heaven is a little secret
Between my Lord and me
None other has stayed the course
And worked so hard to teach
The lessons that he gives us
No secrets can we keep
Every prayer is answered
A secret between
My Lord and me
She sat alone in in a green coat
Her possessions small
Head hanging down
Back against a wall
When she gets to heaven
She won't feel small
She will be a queen
She we will be tall
Shining and white
A crown for her plight
She will see God
Here and There

Crying for the loss of home
Here and There
Wandering around searching
Here and There
I can't go back home
Here and There
I want to change this world
Here and There
I have learned so much
Here and There
Middle name is still In trouble
Here and There
A smiling fool
Here and There
oh there we go forum works again.

Poems are nice. We'd need a like button lol
Perhaps you can find inspirational an online cut-up tool http://www.fullposter.com/apps/creativewriting.php

here it is what i have just devised using it, it seems cute

Torn more,
fighting against a nightly dove,
my wound festers, and Cupid is gone:
cause Lord Lord,
the thought of Edom and of Your abodes
and of my iniquities and of their nodes
remind me derision and praise, virtue and vice,
are equally fit to hinder Paradise.
Belated saints who look upon me wandering astray,
and heathen angels who for my corruption pray,
thanksgiving and rebukes have been laid.
Is redemption an accident in such a trade?
Perhaps the palm of redention passeth,
but I didn't catch even it ephemeral branch most twigged -
and
Salvation is rigged.
Hello Alberto

These poems above yours where actually written and posted by Arrow and as I was setting up the forum I salvaged them from the last site .

My understanding is that i can change the name of who posted them but I haven't figured out how to do it yet .

I went to the website and looked at it but not being someone who does poetry I don't understand what the purpose of the site is , what it does or how it works .

It does look like it would be fun for people who like to do poetry and stuff and maybe there is a way to link it to the Poetry section

Im open to trying if you have any suggestions of how to do it

Hallo Garry

yes maybe i misunderstood how the poetry section works apparently you prefer anyone starts a thread for his/her own poetry.

As for the website you mention you go there and you select on or more (up to 5) author names.
Then you click the button "get words".
It will draw a set of random words chosen from those authors.
Then click the button "align by 3". Any time you click it it will rearrange the picked words in a different fashion. Seeing unusual combinations of nouns and adjectives and verbs come up, that may help you get inspired. Instance:

rest having children
which people live
bird house wicked
people Zion glory
Lord lightnings large
sons praisd shut
whose like statutes
such turneth inherit
wife nothing mayest
sits defend roar
their deep when
sorrow done drink
will made loss
flower immured kings
high mete hast
that unto Lord
thou room them
likeness vengeance disdain
thou give pleasure
Shechem upon proud

Now, those words may suggest to me for instance this:

sorrow done drink => I have drunk from the spring of sorrow
likeness vengeance disdain => and learned how to disdain venegeance.
Lord lightnings large => Lord's lightenings are larger than kings
wife nothing mayest => nothing mayest defeat me.

Now, i try another similar shuffle but i select for instance Virgil and Plato, then i click get words and then align by 3, and i get:

ship exceedingly this
tell this their
ease eyes injustice
Jove babes best
with Simmias never
challenge lesser fight
Euphrates foremost abundance
will about horsemanship
court itself those
Temperance with Unless
Within people rolls
from first many
roams exceed good
shall them Then
others only will
counsellor pronounc'd thrown
required into appears
climbs arts body
Phosphor from indistinct
every bites affections

challenge lesser fight=> challenge a lesser fighter
Temperance with Unless=> temperance is useless
Euphrates foremost abundance=> against Euphrates' greatest abundance.

I now got:

I have drunk from the spring of sorrow
and learned how to disdain venegeance.
Lord's lightenings are larger than kings -
nothing mayest defeat me.
Challenge a lesser fighter
temperance and anger are equally useless
against Euphrates' best abundance.

i now refine on my own with a few rhymes and i may get

I have drunk from the spring of sorrow
and learned how venegeance not to borrow.
Lord's lightenings are larger than kings -
nothing mayest defeat me under His wings.
Challenge a lesser fighter,
for temperance and anger are equally tighter
once Euphrates' best abundance gets so brighter.

It's cute, and it has a meaning. One can devise a poem by being inspired by random associations of words, that is.
What I like about a forum is the ability to take what somebody says and break it apart and answer in pieces and the ability to make your post look pretty with the use of the BBcodes

In case you dont know thats what all these little boxes are just at the top of the post

Check out this Link Go Here to see How BBcodes work

Actually there is no preference to the structure of the poetry section at all ........

And the only rule for this section is have fun and every play nice with each other

as for me playing here I doubt that will never happen as I never have liked putting words together as I never like the way my words look when I am done. I am too self critical but i very well bet that there will be many other people who would like to know about it and will want to know how it works

The idea is to have fun here

One large net of love
to support life, to create love
that builds the path home.

The Musketeer's cry
is a hidden truth shouted
loud, but unheard here.

That was fun. I lived in trees as a child. :)

I can not see the light in the trees, not all the time, or I would be blinded by the beauty of all that love, unrestrained and wild here.

A SCULPTOR

As the ambitious sculptor, tireless, lifts
Chisel and hammer to the block at hand,
Before my half-formed character I stand
And ply the shining tools of mental gifts.
I’ll cut away a huge unsightly side
Of selfishness, and smooth to curves of grace
The angles of ill temper.
And no trace
Shall my sure hammer leave of silly pride.
Chip after chip must fall from vain desires,
And the sharp corners of my discontent
Be rounded into symmetry, and lent
Great harmony by faith that never tires.
Unfinished still, I must toil on and on,
Till the pale critic, Death, shall say, ‘Tis done.’

BEAUTIFUL !!
Jesus bids us shine with a clear, pure light
Like a little candle burning in the night
In this world of darkness so let us shine
You in your small corner and I in mine
Walk a grove of trees after a storm,
breathe deep the tender taste of autumn season ending.
A short reprieve from the wayward screams,
of winter winds harsh blowing.
The fruits are picked or fallen round,
to frost,
the final calling.
