This may be way off topic - if so, slap me over the wrists & tell me I'm, 'Off Topic', - but until that happens, here are just some of my favourites, in no particular order - And may I please post again another few of my favourites?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkmddIIYEjg This is just great! Makes me just want to get up and.... "Boogie Woogie"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Guna_d_pLdk Loved this song all my life - and identified with it because of the name. "I’ll take you home again Kathleen" By Slim Whitman - best version - my parents had quite a few Slim Whitman 78rpm records. (before vinyl - probably Bakelite!!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjqfGe_80Ck Cut Loose - this is absolutely wonderful! Makes me feel so happy when I hear it!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1OggKaCFKQ The Proclaimers '500 miles' - Scottish pair. Many of their modern Scottish songs are LOVELY!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy9GmieAEaQ The Proclaimers - 'Letter from America' I suppose this to be a tribute song to Scots who left their native land.. poignant.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ9rUzIMcZQ Freddie Mercury - Queen. Freddie Mercury - Superlative!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXiTscfA1YM Not sure of title - 'All the girls and boys of my age walk along the road two by two' ... Don't know the proper title of this song, but Francoise Hardy was/is Anglo-French and this song major hit in England in the early 60s.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3Kvu6Kgp88 'I don't regret anything' - Edith Piaf - a unique talent. 'The Sparrow' had a such a tragic life. Feel for her... She left us her voice.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdmIhCkp3p4 'Suspicious Minds' Elvis Presley - beeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful song. And there are so many others ...

Love to hear others' favourites! Please add them after this!

I've got loads more too .... !

Hi Cathy, I was just looking at your music list. I love the PROCLAIMERS "500 Miles" and BILLY JOELS "We didn"t Start the Fire". Any ideas as to why he made that song?
Hi revlenny, I was never a Black Sabath fan. But with what song can a former BLACK SABATH member be credited with helping to end the "Cold War"? There is truth our words are very powerful!
