‘Nones’ now as big as evangelicals, Catholics in the US ITS AN ANIWINDOW WHOOPEE !! took me an hour to find out how to aniwindow :)

QUOTE Even then, those who claim “no religion” are not inherently atheists or agnostics: A 2017 Pew Research survey found that only 22 percent of “nones” listed not believing in God as the most important reason for their lack of religious affiliation. UNQUOTE

So do 78 percent of nones believe in God but not a religion ??

How Many Atheists Are There?

Seems like there are 3 percent atheist, 4 percent agnostic, and that would make 16 percent nones but theists ??

I am one of those 'nones'! Who definitely believe in a 'God, afterlife, reincarnation, souls, etc. etc.'.

After my 'spiritual experiences' I could not sit in a 'church' with 'dogma' that was clearly inconsistent with what I experienced. After searching for any 'religion' consistent with what I have experienced I gave up. I certainly don't miss the community since I feel even more 'part of an even bigger community'!

I feel much more 'spiritual' listening to good positive music, meditating, and striving for what I am passionate about.

Dropping religion out of my life, significantly increased my 'spiritual experiences'!

Religions are too narrow and often no longer as tolerant as they originally intended. I believe that this light in which I have been immersed is a WHOLE of which we are all a part; our opinions and convictions are related to the physical world and our humanity, spirituality encompasses all this to help us to overcome our mental limits

Just a thought, I worked a few years as a field interviewer for Gallup,
about 400 respondents in their homes...many people asked me what
the right answer was to their own opinion :)

also if the question was structured as yes or no, 50 percent plus or minus
4 % was the outcome :)

a yes, no, maybe question, 33 percent each plus or minus 3 or 4 %...

looking at the current results, this seems like four main groups,
1. yes catholic,
2. yes evangelical,
3. nones or no,
4. maybe or mixed group of various smaller adherents, :)
so it looks like roughly one fourth for each ?? + or _ 4% ??
