Why Does It Matter

Post by Garry » Thu Jan 30, 2014 7:50 pm

We will never know for sure where we have come from as it will all depend on which version of the truth as someone else sees it , that we choose to be what we believe !!

So where did we come from ?
  • I don't know
    I don't care
    and
I am not going to waste my time wondering about it !!!
Why am I here ?

Once again it will depend on which version that you choose to believe !!!
  • I don't know
    I don't care
    and
I am not going to waste my time wondering about it !!!
Where am I going ?

Once again it will depend on which version that you choose to believe !!!
  • But this time

    I do care
and the version I choose to believe is my version !

Where I am going is a place beyond our imagination so therefore I cant tell you about it because " It's beyond my Imagination "
Now the Question

Why Does it Matter:

All my life the only thing I have ever believed in is myself as I knew I could count on myself and if I failed then the only person I could blame is myself !

I still only count on myself and that will never change .
I do appreciate any help that I get from others, but I have learned not to count on others because when you really are counting on someone and really need it , that when the system is most likely to break down and I have to go back to rule #1
Count on myself as I am responsible for whatever if I fail

So

Why does it matter ?

My answer is

For the first time in my life I understand what it is to have FAITH......

That is all that has ever been asked of us is to have Faith in GOD , the Lord, Jesus or what ever words someone chooses to use to describe their belief ....

I simply have faith , that there is more to this than meets the eye .....

so

Where I've come from ? Why I'm here ? Where am I going ? Why Does it Matter ?

really none of those Question are of any concern to me ..........

Because for the first time in my life

I understand what it means

" TO HAVE FAITH "

I realize that dogmatic religious leaders entitled as gurus (of the new or old era) in order to manipulate simpletons advocate knowing all the answers to those questions. . At the present time religions have put on us moral codes, religious restrictions, social taboos, and emotional conventions around everything relating to life death and after life . Moreover, religionists have Labeled and decreed what is right and what is wrong what is sinful and what is not. In other words ther s no libert left for the individual to investigate for himself. If ever could there be an individual among the flock. I truly believe there s an innate sense of morality within ourselves that lead us instinctly to what is healthy but it never can be brought about by manipulation and blindly following gurus.

I think Misha set in the cafe session so that participants could 'shame the devil' and post, having the right of being silly.
Maybe he has in mind offering members a chance of breaking the ice, letting go of a suspicious self conscious mind.
I hope Paula may come back on to clarify on her reply to this post.
Personally i liked Garry's post for the spontaneity he conveyed what he had in mind. I mean for the post candidness.
