Where does your consciousness go when you dream?

Post by DTR1975 »

This was a fascinating video. It really makes you think about your dreams. I wish that I could remember my dreams. I feel like there is this huge and amazing part of my life that I don't have access to because I can't remember them.

Derek, I have remembered so many of my dreams that I am convinced that my brain simply needs to add my experiences from yesterday to my life review which is an intangible memory which is always available in spirit.

I have dream sequences, when my brain is done recording yesterday and starts to plan for tomorrow, my control in the dream moves from paralysis to being able to move around within the dream as if I was walking.

These short term memory sequences are probably available while we are awake by using EMDR to mimic the Rapid Eye Movement stage during sleep which I think is how the brain moves memories into the life review.

I think our whole human experience is a singular point of view, for example, my eyes can only focus on one star which appears to be stuck in one place in the sky. This allows our brains to create the life review daily.

Our spiritual experiences happen about a month before our human awareness thinks the events are happening for the first time. Sir Roger Penrose believes the gravity of earth causes collapse of the waveform.

The waveform is our spiritual awareness which includes every possible quantum probability and never pauses nor repeats any experience, so we need our human point of view in order to form the daily life review.

I am toying with the idea that the dream world and the spirit world are the same place. Or at least adjacent to each other. Considering that the human body periodically needs REM sleep, it might be necessary for us to return there regularly, sort of like whales and frogs need to breathe air between dives.

in my experiance the dreamworld is much less clear than my daily life.
whereas the spirit world is an added dimension to the daily life.

it does happen though, that i am informed through dreams about what is going to happen next. like, when i was young and didn't know how to connect. when i connect to the spirit directly, i am informed better than through dreams.

we only return (almost) to the spirit world, when we die.
we can not though, because we are too scared of it... eighter we go straight back or quite straight to the next life....

someone said, there is only one moment in which the world existed. then the problem was solved. this moment is what we call "now". so everything we all go through is in this very moment. expect, we (each) have only a tiny whole to watch through. thats why we beliefe, that everything is separate and progresses in time. i like that idea.

LOL Yes, I think of a human dream as the same place as my human experience, which is my intangible imagination or awareness. So I think of my human life as the same place as my spirit life. For me, the only REAL place is the eternal Divine Presence, the complete unconditional Love which we call God.
