Reincarnation

Post by DTR1975 »

I really hope that reincarnation isn't a thing that we have to do. I don't think that I could do another lifetime again. Not in this world in its present condition.

Hey Derek
I felt just the same way a few years ago, not knowing, for what exact reason i was sent here in the first place....

but now i know. and i know how to get away from this freak-planet  its not difficult, but it takes a lot of dedication. if you have had a near death experiance like me, you at least know, what you are working for.

here comes the trick: whatever life gives to you, remember, that life is just a dream! (you will know it is, when you were over the rainbow..) try to remember, that you ordered the exact occasion to happen to you, to allow yourself to remember that this world is but a dream.
the "dreamlife" will get easier to live with, the more you remember that it IS in fact a dream.

there are two books that i recomend you heavily to read. the first one is "the disappearance of the universe" by gary renard. and the second one is discribed in that very book... the books are a railwayline right out of reincarnation. i have to say, that you will ever come here again for thousands of years.. until you have experianced that in fact heaven is spread out over the earth.. that, s when you are ready to quit school "earth". then it is all over in no time at all 😀

i' sorry for my english. i'm swiss and speak german.. 😉

Derek and fran, I just found this preview of the book. I have not read the book. The first I heard of it was fran's post here in the forum. My idea of reincarnation is that one human lifetime is a spiritual dream to help us remember our spiritual experiences. Just like the brain adds adrenaline to our human dreams to make them scary and easier to remember our human experiences, our human life is scary to help us remember that we are spiritual beings and to build a life review which is available to anyone in the spiritual life.

Here is an AI response on how to use the book's ideas:

# The Disappearance of the Universe: Coping Mechanisms for Navigating Existential Illusions and Spiritual Transformation

The teachings in Gary R. Renard’s *The Disappearance of the Universe* challenge conventional perceptions of reality, positing that the physical world is an illusion created by the ego to sustain separation from God. Through dialogues with ascended masters Arten and Pursah, the book synthesizes principles from *A Course in Miracles* (ACIM), emphasizing forgiveness, non-duality, and the dissolution of egoic thought systems. For readers grappling with these existential concepts, developing coping mechanisms becomes essential to integrate these ideas into daily life while maintaining psychological equilibrium. This report explores actionable strategies for navigating the book’s core themes, drawing on spiritual practices, cognitive reframing, and community engagement.

---

## Reconciling the Illusory Nature of Reality

### Cognitive Reframing of Physical Existence
Central to Renard’s thesis is the notion that the universe is a projection of the collective mind, designed to perpetuate the ego’s narrative of separation[1][8]. For individuals confronting this destabilizing idea, grounding oneself in paradoxical acceptance proves critical. Practitioners might adopt a **dual-awareness practice**, acknowledging the material world’s temporary utility while cultivating detachment from its permanence. For example, during moments of stress, consciously affirming, *“This situation is a classroom for forgiveness, not an absolute reality,”* can reduce existential anxiety[8][12].

Neuroscientific research on perception supports this approach: Studies show that mindfulness practices rewire neural pathways, diminishing attachment to sensory stimuli[11]. By meditating on ACIM’s assertion that *“the world is a dream,”* individuals gradually shift from fear-based reactivity to observer consciousness[5][12].

---

## Advanced Forgiveness as a Transformative Practice

### The Three-Tiered Forgiveness Protocol
Renard elevates forgiveness beyond conventional pardon, framing it as recognition of inherent innocence[1][8]. To operationalize this:

1. **Witness Without Judgment**: When grievances arise, pause to observe the emotional charge without internalizing it. ACIM teaches that *“forgiveness sees there was no sin,”* inviting practitioners to view conflicts as reflections of internalized guilt[5][12].
2. **Invoke the Holy Spirit’s Perspective**: Mentally ask, *“How would love perceive this?”* This aligns with neuropsychological findings that compassionate reframing reduces cortisol levels and enhances prefrontal regulation[11][15].
3. **Release Through Ritual**: Write the grievance on paper and burn it, symbolizing the dissolution of egoic attachment. This tactile ritual, used in trauma therapy, externalizes repressed emotions[14].

Case studies from Haiti and Rwanda demonstrate that victims of violence who practiced radical forgiveness experienced post-traumatic growth, reporting heightened resilience and purpose[4][15].

---

## Ego Dissolution and Identity Reconstruction

### Deconstructing the “Self” Narrative
The book asserts that ego identification sustains suffering by fixating on individuality[6][8]. To counter this:

- **Daily Self-Inquiry**: Upon waking, ask, *“Who am I beyond this body and story?”* This Vedantic technique, validated by fMRI studies on self-referential processing, diminishes default mode network activity associated with egoic thought[7].
- **Shadow Work Integration**: Journal dialogues with perceived adversaries, adopting their perspective. This Jungian method, when combined with ACIM’s teachings, reveals projected self-judgments needing forgiveness[6][12].

Critics argue that ego dissolution risks depersonalization[1], but structured practices mitigate this. Weekly community discussions, as seen in ACIM study groups, provide anchoring relationships during identity transitions[3][10].

---

## Past Lives and Karmic Healing

### Regression Therapy and Symbolic Resolution
Renard incorporates reincarnation as a framework for soul evolution[1][7]. For those resistant to past-life regression, **symbolic visualization** offers an accessible alternative:

1. In meditation, visualize a recurring life challenge as a dense energy sphere.
2. Imagine dissolving it with golden light, affirming, *“I release all karmic lessons here.”*
3. Replace it with an image of liberation, such as a bird in flight.

Clinical trials on guided imagery show reduced somatic symptoms in patients with unexplained chronic pain, suggesting subconscious karmic residues may respond to such interventions[7][14].

---

## Non-Dual Consciousness in Daily Life

### Embodied Oneness Practices
The book’s non-dual philosophy—that separation from God is impossible—can feel abstract. To embody this:

- **Mirror Gazing**: Spend 5 minutes daily observing your reflection while repeating, *“We are Christ in form.”* This ritual, derived from Hindu *darshan*, enhances self-transcendence[12].
- **Nature Communion**: Walk barefoot outdoors, mentally dissolving boundaries between body and environment. Ecological studies confirm that such practices boost oxytocin and interconnectedness[8].

Skeptics dismiss these as New Age tropes[1], but quantum physics’ holographic principle lends scientific credence to non-local consciousness[8].

---

## Navigating Religious and Scientific Skepticism

### Bridging Spirituality and Rational Inquiry
Renard’s dismissal of evolution and material science alienates empirically minded readers[1]. To reconcile this:

- **Comparative Theology Studies**: Explore parallels between ACIM’s metaphysics and quantum field theory. For instance, the illusionary universe concept mirrors physicist Donald Hoffman’s interface theory of perception[8].
- **Dialectical Journaling**: Document conflicts between spiritual teachings and scientific literacy, seeking synthesis. This builds cognitive flexibility, a predictor of stress resilience[11].

Interfaith dialogues, like those at the University of California’s Center for Spirituality and the Mind, demonstrate that integrating disparate worldviews enhances psychological well-being[15].

---

## Conclusion: From Theory to Transformative Praxis

*The Disappearance of the Universe* demands more than intellectual assent—it requires existential courage to relinquish deeply held narratives of self and reality. By anchoring its teachings in evidence-based coping strategies—forgiveness protocols, ego dissolution exercises, and symbolic karmic healing—readers navigate the disorientation of spiritual awakening. Future research should quantify the efficacy of these mechanisms through longitudinal studies on ACIM practitioners, measuring biomarkers like telomere length and neural plasticity. As Renard’s ascended masters assert, the journey home is inevitable, but mindfully crafted tools ease the passage through the dream[8][12].

Derek, it seems reincarnation and dreaming are much more intricately and intensely related to brain function and memory than one might expect ??

51 minutes: Neurosurgeon Rahul Jandial:
'...when the heart has stopped and we have legally and ethically and medically written the time of death for the 2 minutes afterwards there's this robust firing of brain electricity the last few minutes of your brain it doesn't wimp [out] it seems to be it doesn't whimper into Oblivion like a liver or heart dying it goes out in a salvo of firing off all its neurotransmitters with expansive electricity similar to memory activation...'

AI summary of reincarnation as a dream or memory process:
Reincarnation as spiritual dreaming offers a unifying paradigm for science and spirituality. It acknowledges the psyche’s depth while providing pragmatic coping strategies for trauma and existential dread. For Cade, understanding his memories as echoes of a prior dream could transform alienation into empowerment, fostering resilience. As research into consciousness advances, society may yet awaken to the profound truth: we are eternal dreamers, crafting sagas across the loom of time—each life a fleeting vision, each death a gentle awakening.
