As I understand it, this programme is based on the fact that grief is a universal experience that can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others and the fact that this disconnection can be furthered by the demands of productivity and success in our society.

At the core of the programme is the idea that creativity can help us reconnect with ourselves and others, and find ways to live more fully in the face of grief. Hence the offer to explore the use of creativity in grief, by helping participants to learn how to use creativity to reconnect with themselves and others, and to find ways to offer creative space to others.

The idea is that creativity is not about healing or fixing, but about creating a crucible for connection and experimenting with various media to find what works for us.

By openly taking a stand against capitalistic culture, this approach appears a more human and customized way to help reconnection than standard psychotherapy, and deserves in my opinion to be carefully evaluated.
