Because NDEs tend to vary so much from one to the next, I believe that we can conclude that reality itself is a construct of the human mind. The landscape, the imagery, the beings encountered(if any) are the product of the imagination. When I say reality is a product of the human mind, I don't mean to say it is non existent, like pretending. I mean that the world/ realm/plane of existence/ beings are literally built by the human mind and therefore the experience will be perceived differently by every person. There is no need to argue over which religion is true or correct, because they are all literally true. Many of these NDEs include some sort of life review which allows the experiencer feedback on the condition of their spirit based on the framework of whatever religious system they adhere to( if any).
If anyone has alternative theories that contradict this one, I would be more than happy to read and discuss them.
