The Risk of Leaving Heaven (Home) and Coming to Earth

Post by Stanley »

The risk of leaving Heaven and coming to Earth. I've been looking over the forum. I just don't see where to place this. I'm sure I'm not alone in the question and that it's been asked before.

I watched lot of you tube vids on NDE's and listened to tons of podcasts. I listened to the ones that were doing survey's of multiple NDE's from thousands of respondents. So there seem to be a quite a few that have similar themes and experiences. I like that. But there are some contradictions that I just don't get...it revolves around the Hell.

Heaven is terrific. Everything is good and stays good. The question I have not been able to resolve is this If souls make the decision to go from home (heaven) to earth are they taking a chance on going to hell by making bad decisions? That seems like quite a risk. That seems like quite a big risk, forever is long.

Most of the NDE's I've read point out the welcoming garden full of flowers and parks where the returning soul meets up with friends and realitives and that it's a big deal. Is it a big deal because not everyone comes back?

Some of the NDE respondents report that only 2.5% of souls return to heaven. That doesn't seem like the sort of thing God would set up but I can't reason or find rational in the supernatural. Now, I admit that number comes from some of the same respondents who say Hell is full of people who didn't respect their parents or made rap music.

If souls live forever and we are here now and have had past lives then does that mean we have never previously done something so bad as to be condemed to hell forever and we have escaped that fate? Does breaking one or all of the ten commandments mean that's it, you're finished? A lot of NDE folks seemed to have some sins in their life.

There are some contradictions in the NDE's that I've seen and read about. I can't get over the ones who have visions of hell filled with unending millions of souls in torture. Where did they all come from? It seems like a bad and loveless choice.

Personally, I'd be spending all my time in the one million year old library, given a choice.

I can accept that aliens have their own evolution, heaven and a sense of good and evil.

Anyway, that's what's on my mind and preventing sleep. Cheers, Stanley.

I haven't checked these forums for a while but I'm glad I saw this message.

I've wondered about a lot of the same things you are mentioning, because after I learned that reincarnation exists and that God exists at all for that matter, a lot of things just didn't make sense to me, especially about my current lifetime. I met someone several years ago who I considered a spiritual mentor, but ultimately he did an enormous amount of harm to me as he spiritually threatened me, disconnected me from other spiritual contacts and led me to believe in some false prophecies. He even led me to believe that my soul was on the verge of destruction until he admitted otherwise later, but either way he enjoyed tormenting me. At least now he's gone and has received the fruits of his evilness.

I don't think that most souls have a choice as to what their circumstances are. If I could have chosen a different life, I would have taken almost any set of circumstances except the one I had in this current lifetime. As you said, it seemingly made no sense for me to have left heaven for my current lifetime unless I was in hell before this lifetime began. It would seem that if you were in hell, you would want to incarnate for the opportunity to then go to heaven, but you wouldn't want to risk incarnating from heaven because then you could end up in hell.

I've studied a lot of NDEs and the darker ones are the ones that have always stuck with me, unfortunately. I can't believe that good people who simply made mistakes or people who were just forced to make a difficult decision such as me attempting suicide because I saw no way to escape a situation that was effectively causing my soul to be tortured would automatically get condemned to hell. What really helped me was the NDE story of Chris Batts, who suffered horrible abuse, probably similar to what I did, and attempted suicide but still had a positive, life-changing experience.

I've heard that about 15% or so of people who have had NDEs have had negative experiences, but that number could be skewed if people who had positive experiences are more likely to report them and vice versa. But I don't know from experience as I haven't personally had an NDE. Really all of the people I've personally interacted with who have had one have had a positive experience, at least.
