Not Yet by Jeff O'Driscoll

When someone mentions Jeffery C Olsen, my mind goes straight to his close friend Jeff O'Driscoll and his Not Yet.
I found this book one of the most engaging of all.
Jeff O'Driscoll was the emergency physician on duty at the time of Jeff Olsen's car incident, which caused his NDE and his wife's and his son's death. O'Driscoll was able to see Olsen's deceased wife, and to communicate with her.
In fact, it was not the only shared-death experience Jeff has had during his life, starting from his older brother who died at 15 and whose soul appered to him at the time of dying.
But while there is a growing literature on SDEs, the author refers about something else which sounds new to me, although -in a way- "it makes a lot of sense". I will call them, by analogy, "Shared-Birth Experiences". Jeff happens to experience not just the soul of the departing, but also the soul of... newcomers!
A compelling and honest account of a beautiful, long lasting friendship set off from a tragedy. I recommend it to everyone.
