Re: The mystery of time

Hello, Tony.

You have brought up some fascinating ideas about the nature of time!

While entanglement is weird, it doesn't necessarily disprove time. It might just mean these particles are linked in a way we don't fully understand, not that time itself is meaningless.

Relativity shows time is relative, but it still flows for each observer. Imagine two runners on a track. Their speeds are relative, but they both experience time passing as they run.

Our brains do need linear time to form memories, but that doesn't mean objective time itself isn't linear. Maybe it's like music - we experience it in a sequence, even if the sheet music exists all at once.

The idea that time is a mental tool is interesting. Perhaps it's both! Maybe time is fundamental, but our perception of it is shaped by how we experience the universe.

Overall, time is indeed a mystery! Here is another thought. If time is relative, could there be other timelines existing alongside ours? Physics doesn't currently support this, but it's a fun thought experiment.

Thanks for your post! It's a great reminder that even with scientific progress, time remains a profound enigma.

Time is simply a measurement of change / movement
